I wanted to finish my work before this coming Friday. So, I worked during lunch hour. Around 2:30pm my tummy growled and couldn’t take it any longer. I walked outside the building to get some fresh air…. and ended up at MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-op) outlet at 400 King Street West. I love this outdoor gear and clothing shop. *smile* I was thinking about buying snowsuits for Thea but they didn’t have her size. And, I ended up buying winter glove as Christmas present for my brother-in-law.
I had soup with roll and coffee at Tim Hortons . When I was about starting to eat, a man – I believe he stood on the line next to me – approached me and asking whether he could sit with me for lunch. He looked OK and I was in a rush, so I said ‘Yes’. So funny (or, so scary) that he said he saw me at MEC. Not much could be covered in 10-minute initial conversation. Well, I guess… I have one more acquaintance. *smile*
I rushed back to the office, called Irene and told her that I wouldn’t go for a ride home with her after work. I will have dinner with my CCEVI (Canadians Committed to Ethnic Voice in Indonesia) colleagues tonight.
