The first Formula One’s night-time race will have its inaugural Singapore Grand Prix tomorrow (Sunday, 28 September 2008, 8:00PM).
There was a spectacular crash during Friday’s opening practice when Giancarlo Fisichella’s Force India car, as the first driver to take his car onto the circuit, went airborne after going straight over a chicane approaching turn 10 and smashed head on into the barriers. Fisichella appeared unhurt in the collision but his car suffered extensive damage.
It looks like all drivers have to be able to make quick adjustment to this circuit. I wonder whether any driver can overtake his opponent during the race.
My brother-in-law said he has the ticket to watch the race with Matthew. My sis said that she may watch the race from her office at Tower Five in Suntec City. Hey sis, you should either go there or watch it from TV. I tell you there’s different kind of enjoyment when you watch it by the circuit.
I felt this kind of enjoyment when a friend’s son that worked for Honda McLaren team invited me to see F1 Suzuka in Japan in the 90’s. The drivers and cars are so gorgeous! *smile* It takes teamwork to make everything OK including changing the tires in the pit.
Siapa nih yang bakal menang, Hamilton, Massa, atau Raikkonen? Atau jangan-jangan sirkuit baru akan menelurkan pemenang baru juga… who knows?
